Swingsets need constant maintenance. The seat chain is one area subject to intense wear. Medium sized playgrounds often have a 3 or 4 bay swing seat which means 8 swings and 16 chain lengths to manage. Depending on the swing heights, it can quickly add up to a couple hundred feet at chain that needs to be replaced at once. That is why we offer a pail of swing chain. Ordering separate lengths by the foot can be tedious and expensive. With the pail of swing chain, no matter what your swing height is, you can cut to fit. Maybe you started with all belt seats and later there is a need for one bay to be bucket seats. With a bit of chain on hand, it’s a simple set of snips and you’re ready to hang the next swing. Our Steel Swing Chain is zinc coated providing it with additional protection to hold up through the seasons.
