The Southport play system is an excellent option for school-aged kids. What makes this structure particularly exciting is that most of its structure is composed of 6-foot decks, which makes it a prominent and noticeable playground center as well as an ideal vantage point for kids to see their surrounding area. Another obvious advantage of tall playground structures is that they are naturally great places for slides, and Southport uses this to its advantage. On its 6-foot decks, it has a Wave Slide and a Right Turn Slide, as well as a smaller Straight Slide which is great for younger children, or those who prefer a gentler ride. It also has a pair of 6-foot climbers to reach the decks: a Wavy PE Rock Climbing Wall, and a Twisted Arch Ladder. These are very different climbers, which are each uniquely fun for kids to climb.
